Having selected the 25th anniversary of his wife's murder as a date to make his social media premier, Simpson created the user @TheRealOJ32 on Twitter early in the morning last Friday. As Fox News reminded us, June 12 marked the 25th anniversary of the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.

"If you don’t see it here, I didn’t say it," the Twitter account's bio reads. Simpson's first Tweet was a video of himself.

“Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly and I’m coming soon to Twitter. You get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything,” Simpson says.

He continued: “This should be a lot of fun. I’ve got a little getting even to do. So God bless, take care.”
