The Open

Wow!  Check out Darren Clarke off the tee.  Love that guy, who won the Open in 2011, and wish we could have a pint together.   The Brits are very sensitive to the fact that the British Open is “The Open.” Our money is on Jon Rahm, the Spaniard from ASU. Share this:Like this:Like Loading...

Class Act

I have always been a bit ambivalent about baseball great, Albert Pujols (AP), who now plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and returned to St. Louis tonight for the first time after playing for Cardinals from 2001-2011.   But not after seeing this tweet last night. Rory It Is…

The Irishman, Rory McIlroy wins the Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in Florida on St. Patrick’s Day with a score of 16 under par.  How cool is that? I think our “Unleash the Leprechauns!” chant and blessing helped him along today.  You should have bet along with us.  See here. In the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship 2019, Rory McIlroy made some clutch shots down the stretch, carding a 2-under 70 to finish the tournament at 16-under and one stroke clear of the field for...
